OZZY Powered Football Club Shows Off Its Wheels
August 22, 2006"The Ozzy Powered Football Club", the Birmingham, England-based soccer team formed by a British BLACK SABBATH fan by the name of Garry Raybould, has sent in several photos of its team bus. Check them out at this location.
Raybould has been running a campaign to honor the four original members of SABBATH for quite some time now. He has collected thousands of signatures on a hand-written petiton to create a "Walk of Fame" in the heart of downtown Birmingham, England, which will honor "famous Brummies," starting off with Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward. Garry has spread the word through his soccer team, whose uniforms sport the words "Free Ozzy" on them. A web-based petition has also been set up online for other fans to sign.
